The present company was established in 1931 after having supplied Moët with grapes since the turn of the century. Nowadays Martine and Michel control fourteen hectares at Festigny and three neighbouring villages. This fine domain is a point of reference for lovers of great Pinot Meunier. It is a praiseworthy initiative to take the oldest Pinot Meunier vines planted in 1966, 1962 and 1942 and use the wine from these in their own cuvée. The 2002 Vieilles Vignes is still mostly pure and young, but with a promising rich structure and a good concentrated fruity style. It will be exciting to see how it turns out. Degorgeret januar 2018.
